SoLa Impact currently owns and manages a portfolio of 1,500+ apartments in the South Los Angeles area. With multiple projects in various stages of development and construction, SoLa is currently building another 1,500 affordable and workforce housing units in Los Angeles. In addition, SoLa Impact created the “The Beehive”, SoLa’s Business Campus that has garnered nationwide attention. In the Black Impact Fund (Fund IV), SoLa will be adding another 3,500 units in greater Los Angeles and Southern California, making SoLa one of the largest minority-led developers in the nation.

Project Avalon

Project Avalon includes 28 affordable apartments with a mix of studios and one-bedroom units. The building stands four stories tall and provides open space for its residents and their visitors on a landscaped rooftop deck. With easy access to transit, residents are within walking distance of Avalon & Gage Park, various restaurants, markets, and retail stores. Project Avalon was delivered Q3 2021.

Project Florence is a mixed-use development housing 31 apartments with 100% of units reserved for low-income tenants. A large community room and common open space will be provided on tiered patios with views to the downtown skyline. Nearly 700 SF of the ground floor will be dedicated to commercial space. This building is conveniently located near transit, grocery stores, retail stores, and restaurants. Project Florence was delivered Q4 2022.

The Beehive is SoLa Impact's 5-acre OZ business campus, comprised of 100,000 SF of commercial space with 60,000 SF of open space and courtyards located only ten minutes south of downtown Los Angeles. With six unique and architecturally beautiful red-brick warehouses, this project will transform the local neighborhood and economy in the true spirit of the OZ legislation as the nation’s first OZ business campus.
