SoLa Impact currently owns and manages a portfolio of 1,500+ apartments in the greater South Los Angeles area. With multiple projects in various stages of rehab, construction, and pre-construction, we are positioned to build and renovate another 1,500 affordable units with our current pipeline of Opportunity Zone projects. In addition, we acquired and are rehabbing “The Beehive”, SoLa’s Opportunity Zone Business Campus that has garnered nationwide attention.

    The Beehive is SoLa’s Opportunity Zone business campus, comprised of 100,000 sq ft of commercial space located only ten minutes south of downtown Los Angeles. Comprised of six unique and architecturally beautiful red-brick warehouses, this project will transform the local neighborhood and economy by encouraging the relocation of businesses into Opportunity Zones, while prioritizing local entrepreneurs and businesses with a stated social mandate. The Beehive will also contain an incubator that will grow and support local entrepreneurs with business services and investor networks.

    Project Triple Main will transform this neighborhood by replacing a junkyard with a beautiful building of 84 apartments serving low-income community members. The landscaped rooftop deck will offer sweeping views to downtown, and its proximity to buses and the Metro system will provide tenants with transportation options to jobs. Construction is expected to be completed in Q4 2021.

    Project Florence is a mixed-use development housing 31 apartments with 100% of units reserved for low-income tenants. A large community room and common open space will be provided on tiered patios with views to the downtown skyline. Nearly 700 sq ft of the ground floor will be dedicated to commercial space. This building is conveniently located near transit, grocery stores, retail stores, and restaurants.

    Project Florence is expected to be open in Q1 2021.

    Project Avalon will provide 28 affordable units to community members of South Los Angeles, with a unit mix of one bedrooms and studios. The building will stand four stories tall and provide open space for its residents and their visitors on a landscaped rooftop deck. With easy access to transit, residents will also be within walking distance of Avalon & Gage Park, various restaurants, markets, and retail stores.

    Project Avalon will be ready for tenants in Q1 2021.
